Notifitron is a local-first reminder app. This policy explains how the current version of the app handles information.

Information stored on your device

Notifitron stores the reminders you create on your device. This can include reminder titles and descriptions, dates, times, selected icons, and related settings. This information is used only to display and schedule your reminders.

Notifications

If you allow notification permission, Notifitron schedules local notifications on your device to deliver your reminders. The app uses your device time zone locally to schedule them correctly. Notifitron does not send reminder content to a server to deliver notifications.

Backup export and import

When you choose to export your reminders, Notifitron creates a JSON backup file and opens your device's share sheet. Any sharing is initiated by you and is subject to the privacy practices of the service or recipient you choose. When you choose to import a backup, the app reads only the JSON file you select and stores its reminder data on your device.

Data collection and sharing

Notifitron does not collect your information on our servers. The current version has no account system, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell your information.

Support communications

If you email us for support or privacy questions, we receive the email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use this information only to respond to your request and provide support.

Your choices

You can edit or delete reminders in the app, revoke notification permission in your device settings, and remove the app from your device. Removing the app removes the reminder data stored by the app on that device, subject to your device's operating-system behavior and any backup file you exported yourself.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if Notifitron's data practices change. The latest version will be posted at this page with a revised update date.
